Executive Homes
For University Park, we envision combining larger executive estate homes and 55-and-older residences. Executive homes are important to West Sacramento because they provide a needed housing type for families ready to move up into larger homes. Executive homes also help attract businesses leaders looking to relocate their offices to West Sacramento.

Active Adult
University Parkâs housing component will be Yolo County's first active adult community and include single-family residences available to persons age 55 or older. Residents of University Park will enjoy its tranquil setting along the Sacramento River and the convenience and accessibility of shopping and services including health care, cultural opportunities, educational resources, recreation and entertainment.

The community will be designed to enhance the health and wellness of its residents through a lifestyle that features a community center as a magnet for the interests and activities, including:

Life-Long Learning Programs

  • Walking & Bike Trails, Parks & Water Sports
  • Community Center With a Fitness & Wellness Facility
  • Swimming & Therapy Pools Multi-Purpose Ballroom, Kitchen, Game Rooms, Crafts Center Community Lounge

The community will consist of a group of neighborhoods linked by a network of walking and bicycle pathways. All pedestrian sidewalks would be handicap accessible.

Aging in Place
University Park's Aging in Place facility will provide housing that includes independent living along with skilled nursing and convalescent care.

Pitch & Putt Golf
A Par 3 Course with real golf greens and small approach areas will include a recreational center and teaching facility for both community residents and the general public.
